Police reward for tip-off

The efforts by members of the public
in helping law enforcement agencies to fight crime in the country are
very much appreciated.
Recently, Suresh Janardanan was
awarded an Outstanding Certificate from the Commissioner of Police for
his valuable information to the Royal Brunei Police Force, which
resulted in the arrest of three people. The trio were sentenced to 45
year's jail and 24 strokes of the cane, 25 year's in jail and 20
strokes of the cane and 25 year's jail and 20 strokes of the cane
each.
The certificate was presented by
Senior Assistant Commissioner of Police and Head of Crime, Mr Peng Eng
Lee at the Royal Brunei Police Force Headquaters in Gadong.
The certificate stated that, Suresh's
contribution in helping the police which was very much appreciated by
the police and that his act could be an example to other people.
