Their Majesties being greeted by Cabinet ministers and senior
government officials and spouses on arriving at the Brunei
International Airport before departure for a state visit of
Singapore yesterday morning.
His Majesty The Sultan and Yang
Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and Her Majesty Raja Isteri
Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha left for a three-day state visit to
Singapore yesterday morning. Also joining the royal entourage
was the Ambassador-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
HRH Princess Hajah Masna and Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun
Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Aziz.
Present to bid farewell to His
Majesty and Her Majesty were HRH Crown Prince Pengiran Muda Haji
Al-Muhtadee Billah, HRH Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of
Foreign Affairs and HRH Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah
Zariah, HRH Prince Hj Sufri Bolkiah and other members of the
royal family.
Also present were Cabinet
ministers as well as senior government officers. Prior to the
royal departure, a 'Doa Selamat' was read by the State Mufti,
Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Hj Awg
Abdul Aziz.
