The Wedding Showcase Extravaganza, an event organised in
conjunction with the 19th National Day is set to commence
tomorrow and go on until March 2 at the International Convention
Centre, Berakas.
The launching of the event
shall take place at 3 pm at the same venue. It would be
officiated by the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Pehin
Orang Kaya Digadong Seri Lela Dato Seri Paduka (Dr.) Hj Awg
Hussain, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for the 19th National
Day celebrations.
The bridal fashion showcase has
been dubbed as the first ever star-studded wedding exhibition
ever held here where it will feature various forms of wedding
attire and accessories to suit various fashion tastes and
preferences.
The public is most welcome to
the wedding exhibition, which is free, said the organisers,
Sitimas Holdings Sdn Bhd and Enigma Envisions.
The event is sponsored by the
Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and the Brunei Tourism
Department, Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources, while
Martha Tilaar Spa, Porza Bru Sdn Bhd, Kristal, QuadraVision,
Mexx Vintton Sdn Bhd are platinum sponsors and Usaha Roza Rohaya
and Hariza Restaurant, the silver sponsors.
Meanwhile Malaysian designer
Rizalman Ibrahim, as well as renowned artistes Maya Karin and
Nurhuda are set to arrive in Brunei Darussalam tomorrow.
A spokesman of the organisers,
Borhan, said that the Wella Hair Show hosted by Malaysian
renowned singer, actress, model and television personality, Maya
Karin is now scheduled to take place Sunday, March 2 at 3 pm and
not as announced earlier. B$20 tickets to the show are still

Borhan said that designer
Rizalman and recording artiste Nurhuda are also set to appear in
a Rampai Pagi segment aired on Saturday, March 1 at 9.30 am.
Maya Karin meanwhile will appear at the same live morning
programme on Sunday March 2 at the same time.
Another event, 'Children in
Wedding Costumes' is scheduled to be held at 8 pm, March 2 at
the ICC.
