By Malai FadleyRizal

A 26-year-old cross-dresser was released on court bail while he finds a way to pay his $800 fine after he pleaded guilty to loitering for immoral purposes yesterday in the Magistrates' Court.

Ali Rahman Abdullah's mother is to stand as surety for her son's case where he was caught loitering for immoral purposes by two policemen patrolling at the area behind TAIB bank on the night of February 10, 2003.

The two policemen apprehended Ali and conducted a bodily search on the cross-dressing man where they found condoms and make-ups in his handbag which he had brought with him at that time.

He later admitted to his wrong-doing during investigations at the Central Police Station. The Magistrates' Court ordered for the items to be destroyed.
