Around 160 students, parents and
staff members of Jigsaw International School held their annual
Sports Day at the Muara Beach yesterday morning.
Everyone cheered to support
their respective teams that included Asteroids, Comets, Planets
and Stars. The principal of the school, Elizabeth Sequira was
also present to help out with the sports event.
The sports events for the day
included picking up sweets, breaking balloons, 25-50-80-100
metres race, obstacles race, ball and spoon race, 3x4 m - 3x80 m
- 3x100 m relay and tug of war challenge for the students of
reception class and primary six classes.
Special events were also
prepared for the teachers as well as parents, which included the
sack race for the teachers and the tug of war challenge for the
parents.
Everyone had a great time and
the function ended with a trophy presentation ceremony to the
winning team, the Planet team.
