The Brunei Music Society's next concert, sponsored by HSBC,
features British guitarist, Jason Carter, who will perform at
The Orchid Garden Hotel on Saturday March 8, 7.30pm.
Tickets are available from The
Mabohai Club and at the door on the 8th. Tickets for adults are
priced at $20, while for students, tickets are priced at $7.
Jason will also be playing at
The Panaga Club, Main Hall, Seria, on Friday March 7, at 7.30pm.
Tickets are available from The Panaga Club. Jason Carter's style
is a mix of Flamenco, Jazz and Classical.
He studied with John Williams
and has performed with outstanding artists such as Nigel
Kennedy, Gordon Giltrap and Babik Reinhardt.
He performs internationally,
mainly as a solo guitarist but also collaborates with artists
from China, India, Pakistan, Egypt and the Middle East.
He has recorded a range of CD's
with EMI, Sony, ASV and ARC Music.
The chance to hear a musician
of such standing here in Brunei is not to be missed and the BMS
and PMS advise the public to purchase their tickets and reserve
good seats well in advance of the concerts, which are likely to
be highly popular.
