Eight Babies Join Brunei On National Day

Bandar Seri Begawan - More babies were born as Brunei celebrated its 19th National Day yesterday.

From 12am until 4pm yesterday, eight babies were delivered at two government hospitals.

The Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha (RIPAS) in the capital, seven babies were born. The first baby girl was born at 12.26am.

The Suri Seri Begawan Hospital in the Belait District delivered only one baby girl in the morning.

No births were reported at Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah Hospital in Tutong and at the hospital in Temburong.
