NAM Leaders Begin 13th Summit In Kuala Lumpur

Kuala Lumpur - Brunei and other members of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) converge at Putra World Centre in Kuala Lumpur for their 13th Summit set to open today.

Government leaders of NAM member countries began arriving in the Malaysian capital yesterday.

Meanwhile, Brunei Foreign Affairs Minister His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah on Saturday night joined his colleagues and NAM representatives at a dinner hosted for Foreign Ministers who attended NAM's Ministerial Meeting in Kuala Lumpur.

Malaysian Foreign Affairs Minister Dato Syed Hamid hosted the dinner.

In the Ministerial Level Meeting, His Royal Highness specially commended NAM for its focus on South-south Cooperation in promoting common ideas, experiences, technical advances, skills and expertise.

As a whole, Brunei expressed its satisfaction on the role of NAM so far.
