His Majesty Off To NAM Summit In Kuala Lumpur

Bandar Seri Begawan - His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah left Brunei for Kuala Lumpur yesterday to attend the 13th Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Summit at Putra World Centre.

Present at the Brunei International Airport to bid farewell to His Majesty were His Royal Highness Crown Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah and His Royal Highness Prince Haji Sufri Bolkiah.

Also present at the airport were YAM Pengiran-pengiran Cheteria, cabinet ministers, deputy ministers and other senior government officials.

Brunei joined NAM in September 1992 during its summit in Jakarta, Indonesia.

State Mufti Pehin Dato Awang Haji Abdul Aziz read the Doa Selamat before the departure of the Sultan at the Brunei International Airport.
