Restaurants go patriotic

In conjunction with the 19th National Day, some restaurants in the country decided to put out a promotion. One of such eateries is Periuk Nasi restaurant in BN Complex, Jalan Tutong. The restaurant that specialises in authentic local Malay dishes is currently having a lunch buffet promotion. Patron's favourites are featured everyday, including sambal tahai (fish in dried chilli sauce), chicken curry and beef rending. Malay desserts such as pulut panggang and bingka susu can always be found at the buffet. According to a restaurant staff, there will be a special buffet on Feb 26 (Wednesday), and 19 dishes will be served to mark the celebration of the National Day.
