Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah shopping complex is not only the best shopping destination in Brunei but also a place to cool yourself down. During yesterday's National Day celebrations, hundreds of people including school children, spectators and participants for the national day celebration were seen flocking to the shopping complex to cool themselves down by taking a shade from the scorching sun at the shopping complex.

Most of the shops at the shopping complex were closed due to the national day celebrations. So there was only one door to go in and out of the building through one of the fastfood restaurants there.

The main door of the shopping complex was closed.

If something were to go wrong in the shopping complex like a fire, people would certainly find it difficult to escape from the overcrowded building yesterday.

The question raised is why the main door was closed for the people on that day.
