Bangladeshis to celebrate special language day

Bangla (Bengali) speaking people are going to observe the "Language Martyrs Day" (Shaheed Dibash) and International Mother Language Day February 21, 2003. To mark this occasion, the High Commission of the People's Republic of Bangladesh in Bandar Seri Begawan will host a special programme which includes a 'Painting Competition' for children, and a discussion session followed by a cultural programme at 9.30 am, February 24, 2003 at the premises of the High Commission at No 125, Kg Kiulap, Bandar Seri Begawan. Members of the Bangladesh community living in Brunei Darussalam are cordially invited to join us in observing this event.
