PGGMB Secondary School holds
annual dinner

Students who excelled in their studies were presented an award
The PGGMB Secondary School held its
second annual dinner for the second time on Friday night since its
establishment in 2001 in Sungai Akar. The annual dinner attended by
teachers of the school, students as well as their parents were held at
the Pelangi lounge of Riverview Hotel.
Present as guest of honour was the
President of PGGMB, Cikgu Hj Antin bin Ahad who was warmly welcomed by
the Chairman Principal Dr Hj Tudin bin Ahad.
The main intention for the gathering
was to show appreciation to the teachers of PGGMB Secondary School as
well as to acknowledge the students who had excelled in their exams
last year, stated the principal during his welcoming speech.
He added that cooperation between
teachers and parents of students as well as the students determination
to work hard were important key roles to keep up the reputation of the
school. He was also pleased with the drastic increase in the number of
students over the two years of its establishment, which has reached a
total of over 400 students.
Following this was a speech by the
President of PGGMB in which he expressed his appreciation to teachers
of the school. He went on to state that the teachers were a very
important asset to the school in which they are selected individuals
who help shape the personalities, mental and physical as well as
morals of students.
Some performances were also presented
by the students and teachers. This was followed by the presentation of
awards to excellent students of the school and also awards to teachers
who have achieved 100 per cent student passes in their class.
