Sabah delegation visiting Brunei

A delegation from the Human Resource Development Department, Sabah (JPSM), visited the Information Department yesterday morning to learn and understand Brunei Darussalam. Heading the delegation was Puan Faridah Malai, who explained the roles of the JPSM to the Acting Director of Information Department, Awg Hj Bujang Hj Masu'ut.

Awg Hj Bujang welcomed the delegates and said he hoped the visit will strengthen the bilateral relationship between Brunei and Sabah in all working fields. He said he hoped the delegates would gain more understanding in the places of interests in Brunei, and exchange ideas and information on human resource development, especially in training.

He brought up the issue on how to train those who have finished school and are currently seeking jobs. Awg Ismail bin Mohammad, an official from Information Department also delivered a briefing on the structure of 'administration and rule in Brunei Darussalam'.

The delegates, who arrived from Sabah last Friday, will be visiting the Jame Asr' Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque, and the Lambak Kanan Housing Scheme. They are expected to return to Sabah today.
