From China's Foreign Minister

On the occasion of the 19th Anniversary of the Independence of Brunei Darussalam, I wish to extend to Your Royal Highness (Prince Mohamad) my warmest congratulations and best wishes. In the past year, the bilateral relations between China and Brunei Darussalam continued to develop with a momentum. We have made further progress in the exchanges and cooperation in the political, economic, trade, military and judicial fields and have made marked achievements in the cooperation in the main fields such as petrochemical, agriculture and tourism.

I'm ready to make concerted efforts with Your Royal Highness in the new year to further increase the coordination and cooperation between our two ministries and carry forward the good neighbourly, friendly relations and cooperation between China and Brunei Darussalam.
