Signal for Mini Coopers to join parade

Heads were turning last night as a parade of 14 old Mini Cooper models drove around the city (pic), waving the Brunei flag proudly, to symbolize the high spirit of patriotism for National Day.

Heading the troupe, Abu Bakar Hj Abd Ghani, hopes it will induce a patriotic sense among those who see them parading.

The troupe will start today's parade from the Taman Omar Ali Saifuddin, to Jerudong, Gadong, Berakas and lastly the National Indoor Stadium.
