Lights, camera, action for National Day

The Sponsorship Working Committee on the National Day celebration last night made a tour to ensure that all the neon lighting, banners, flags and decorations were in order and will light up the Capital for today's 19th National Day celebration.

The group was led by Dato Paduka Awg. Haji Dani, the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, (pic) along with other Executive Committee members The tour started from 8.00pm from Gadong Counterpoint, all the way to Jalan Beribi junction and passed Jalan Tutong using an executive bus.

The group made a stop at Istana Nurul Iman parking lot before proceeding to Bandar Seri Begawan.

The group took a few minutes to walk along the streets and spend a few minutes at the Taman Sri Muda Omar Ali Saifuddien to witness the final preparations of the celebration.

Some lighting which were not functioning were to be repaired yesterday.
