Graduates marry early to avoid rural postings

Despite the recent call made by a Deputy Minister of Education to ask graduates to be ready to be posted to rural areas, several undergraduates tend to get married earlier before the convocation ceremony to avoid being posted to the rural areas.

This happens normally to the final year undergraduates. Apparently, they think that by getting married early, the chance of being posted far from their husband's workplace is slim.
