Local Man Remanded For Theft

Bandar Seri Begawan - Because of incomplete investigations by the Police on a 23-year-old local man who is facing a charge of committing theft of a Toyota Kijang, the defendant was remanded for a week at the Central Police Station.

Magistrate Hj Abdullah Soefri granted the application made by the Attorney General Chambers DPP Noradinah for the defendant, Azman Jaya to be remanded for further investigations. He was arrested four days ago.

No plea was taken. He is alleged to have committed on the January 29 this year near Batu Satu parking lot. The car had belonged to Brusima Sdn Bhd.
