The Royal Brunei Police Force
held a 'Feast of Sacrifice' ceremony late yesterday afternoon
for its personnel at its surau in Gadong Rimba.
Dato Paduka Seri Hj Abd. Rahman
bin Hj Johan, Commissioner of Police, graced the ceremony, where
he was warmly greeted by Supt. Hj Abd Murad bin Hj Abd Hadi,
Chairman of the organising committee.
A religious talk was delivered
by Ustaz Dr. Hj Md. Shahroni bin Hj Abd Kadir, from the Islamic
Religious Centre, on the importance of 'Korban' day, followed by
an 'Asar' mass prayer led by Imam Hj Abdullah bin Hj Karim.
Seven cattle were slaughtered
to commemorate the 'Feast of Sacrifice', and were distributed to
48 personnel of the Royal Brunei Police Force.
Also present during the
ceremony were officials and senior officers of the Royal Brunei
Police Force.
