Brunei Sultan Meets Five Foreign Envoys

Bandar Seri Begawan - His Majesty Sultan of Brunei received letters of appointment from five foreign envoys to the sultanate at Istana Nurul Iman yesterday.

His Majesty first received the letter of appointment from the Thai Ambassador to Brunei, Lt Sunton Niyomyeath.

His Majesty then received the letter of appointment from the Lesotho non-resident Ambassador to Brunei, Joseph Lefa Mokotjois who is based in China.

His Majesty also received the letter of appointment from the non-resident Ambassador of the Republic of Guinea, Mamadon Toure who is based in Malaysia.

Following that was the Non-resident High Commissioner of the Republic of Mauritius to Brunei Shailendra Kumar Singh Dusworth is also based in Malaysia.

Last to present his letter of appointment to His Majesty was the non-resident Ambassador of Mongolia Nyamsuren Aliesuren based in Laos.

His Majesty later granted separate audiences to the newly appointed foreign envoys.

Meanwhile, Brunei Foreign Affairs Minister His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah also granted audience to the five newly appointed foreign envoys to Brunei at the Balai Pendahapan Bukit Kayangan yesterday.
