Driven, Says Dato Hazair
Bandar Seri
Begawan - To make Royal Brunei Airlines (RBA) even more viable
in the future it has to be more business driven, Dato Haji Hazair, the
airline's acting chairman said yesterday.
The management has identified many
projects and the initiatives launched yesterday were one of the many
that has been realised, he added.
Dato Hazair who is also the Permanent
Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office underlined this at the
launching of the Royal Brunei Airlines and Boeing Maintenance
Management Software, Enterprise One.
He said the initiative was an
important step towards the airline's goal to become a commercial
aircraft maintenance leader in Southeast Asia.
With the introduced software, RBA
could work easier, faster and with greater precision.
He added that the new system will
greatly improve RBA's operational efficiency as a third party provider
of Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Services.
The Enterprise One system is designed
to help airlines to optimise major support functions such as
maintenance planning and scheduling, engineering operations and
logistics management.
