In conjunction with the
National Day celebrations, a National Day posters and books
presentation was held at the Information Department yesterday
afternoon.
Public relations officers of
the different ministries, representatives from governmental
departments and different educational institutions and the
private sector were present to receive the posters and books. To
welcome the guests was Awang Haji Bujang Haji Masu'ut, the
Acting Director of Information.
He urged all the ministries,
governmental agencies and private sector to put up the national
flag and the posters in strategic places to celebrate the
National Day and thus to heighten the atmosphere of the 19th
Brunei Darussalam National Day celebrations.
The Information Department has
todate distributed 1,500 posters and 300 books to the different
ministries and private sector. In addition, the department will
put up 3,000 more posters throughout the country. The books
contain a proper guide of putting up the national flag, a
detailed description of the national crest of Brunei Darussalam
and the lyrics of the national anthem.
