Crystal Opens Up In Tutong

Bandar Seri Begawan - Kristal and Kristal-Astro announced that they will open payment counters in Tutong to cater for the needs of their customers there in addition to their present establishments at Kuala Belait, Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, BSB and Gadong.

The announcement was made yesterday morning by the Managing Director of Kristal-Astro, Hj Matnarudin Ibrahim at the official opening of Counter Operation branch of Kristal-Astro and Kristal with DST Technical (Fascom) at Gadong Properties Centre, Gadong.

The counters of Kristal-Astro were shifted from Setia Kenangan Mall, Kiulap to present location since last December 16.

The new counter operation branch was officially opened by Dato Paduka Awg Hj Hazair bin Hj Abdullah, the permanent secretary at the Prime Minister's Office.

Hj Matnaruddin said the move was made in line with the continuous effort by Kristal-Astro in ensuring satisfaction and convenience by offering "a one-stop centre" for the customers of DST Group.

The floor occupied by Kristal and Kristal-Astro also housed another DST Group company, the DST Communication, the nation's only mobile phone provider.

With the shifting, customers can now pay their subscriptions of mobile phone, Kristal and Kristal-Astro at one place, at the Gadong Properties Centre.

He said apart from the branches, their customers could also subscribe through appointed vendors. Subscriptions can also be paid through direct debit facilities (for customers with bank accounts) to avoid long queues usually seen at Kristal and Kristal-Astro counter payments at every end of the month.

"Kristal and Kristal-Astro wish to apologise for any inconveniences faced by customers in our continuous efforts to upgrade services and facilities.

"Our customers can now call our new call centre by dialling 152 instead of 02-411188.

"Kristal-Astro would also like to inform our dear customers that we are currently involved in discussions with our joint-venture company towards introducing new programmes in line with the varying needs of our subscribers," he said.

Currrently Kristal and Kristal\-Astro have more than 25,000 customers subscribing to their transmission products.

Meanwhile, the new Fascom counter operation is offering a service provider and reseller of trunked two-ways radio as well as providing the facilities for trunked business communications mainly in field operations and mobile service companies.
