Rusty Pipe At Rimba Housing Worries People

Bandar Seri Begawan - People in Kampong Rimba Housing area are annoyed with the foul smell coming out from the pipes near the roundabout heading toward the Tungku Link Highway.

A resident complained that the pipes are already old and rusty, and occasionally water is seen pouring out from the leaks. Road users passing the roundabout could also smell the unavoidable and unpleasant sewer odour, he later added.

Residents living nearby hope the authorities could take swift action. Previously, the residents were also endangered by open rubbish burning by irresponsible individuals at JKR rubbish collecting area that had smog and a hazardous smell. (Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin)
