Students of St. Angela’s School help keep our beaches clean
A group of students and
teachers from St. Angela’s School, lent a helping hand by
cleaning the beach near the Billionth Barrel Monument in Seria
on January 25, 2003.
According to the
teachers-in-charge, Irma Bungga and Cigku Hjh Norashida, this
activity is one among many events held for the upcoming
celebration of the school’s anniversary in August.
The theme this year is
“Celebrating 45 Years of Dedicated, Caring Service to the
Community.”
They also added that this
activity is one way of rendering services to the community and
at the same time provide an excellent opportunity for the
students to learn more about the importance of the environment.
