Special needs children with their toothbrushes and dental nurses
Thirteen KACA children with
special needs from Sengkurong A held teeth-brushing lessons
yesterday morning.
Its purpose was to help expose
the kids to the importance of dental healthcare and encourage
parents to do the same.
The lessons were taught by the
two nurses from the National Dental Centre, Ministry of Health
The nurses said that it was to prevent decay, maintain milk
teeth and also give them advice on good dietary habit or “oral
hygiene.”
The special needs children were
very cooperative, handling their toothbrush well and brushing
along with their parents, guardians, nurses as well as other
members of the playgroup.
