A poster competition is
currently being organised in conjunction with the Congress of
Southeast Asian Librarians (CONSAL) XII Conference scheduled to
take place at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in
Berakas from May 4 – 8.
The competition will provide
excellent opportunities to highlight innovative programmes,
ideas or research findings, organised said. “Authors must
submit their application forms and abstracts by February 28.”
The ‘acceptance of presentation’ will take place on March
25, while posters will be displayed at the ICC from May 5 – 8.
“Their works must be relevant to the interest of the library
and information environment,” they added.
Authors are asked to submit an
electronic copy of their abstracts to Hjh Pusparaini Hj. Thani,
CONSAL XII / BLA Secretariat, Universiti Brunei Darussalam
Library, Tungku Link Road, Gadong or email it to puspa@itb.edu.bn.
Authors need to provide their
particulars such as names and institution of authors, complete
contact details including mailing address, e-mail address, phone
and fax, Hjh Pusparaini explained. “They also need to provide
a title for their poster, an abstract (composition) of the
poster - not to exceed 500 words in length.”
CONSAL XII is organised by the
Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka (DBP), Brunei Darussalam with the
cooperation the Brunei Darussalam Library Association and
supported by the CONSAL Secretariat, Singapore and Ministry of
Culture, Youth and Sports, Brunei Darussalam.
