Pakistan marks Kashmir Solidarity Day

Pakistanis at the gathering

The Kashmir Solidarity Day was observed at the Pakistani High Commission’s Chancery, Kampong Serusop, off Jalan Muara on Feb. 5.

The government and people of Pakistan continue to support the people of Jammu and Kashmir morally, politically and diplomatically, a press release from the Pakistan High Commission said.

Mr Badr-ud-Deen, High Commissioner, reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment in the implementation of the UN Security Council resolutions and pledges made by India and Pakistan to allow the people of Jammu and Kashmir to exercise their right to self-determination.

The messages of the President General Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mir Zafarullah khan Jamali were also read. A large number of Pakistanis from various walks of life living in the country joined the function.
