Brunei To Celebrate Aidil Adha Sacrificial Feast Next Wednesday

Bandar Seri Begawan - Brunei is to celebrate Hari Raya Aidil Adha next Wednesday, February 12, 2003, corresponding to the 10th of Zulhijah 1423 Hijrah.

The announcement was made throughout the sultanate on Radio Television Brunei (RTB) last night.

The decision was made after delegation of officials had not sighted the new moon of Zulhijah 1423 Hijrah late Saturday afternoon.

Syari judges and officials from the Religious Affairs Ministry and the Survey Department were at several places in the sultanate to sight the new moon of Zulhijah.

Meanwhile, Aidil Adha prayers will be held at all mosques and suraus nationwide on Wednesday, February 12, commencing at 7.30am.
