‘Berbalas Pantun’ chaired by both representatives from
Brunei and Indonesia
RRI representatives for the pre-recording of ‘Berbalas Pantun’
for the National Day
Radio Television Brunei (RTB)
and Radio Republic of Indonesia (RRI) held a ‘Berbalas Pantun’
programme yesterday, at RTB’s Studio ‘A’ in Bandar Seri
Begawan.
The programme is part of the
Memorandum of Understanding, signed between the two stations for
the purpose of establishing and enhancing good relations between
both countries.
RRI is in Brunei for a
counter-visit, after delegates from RTB made a trip to their
station sometime in 2000.
The ‘Berbalas Pantun’
programmes were pre-recorded for radio broadcasting
simultaneously in Brunei Darussalam and Indonesia this year.
The five pre-recorded
programmes will be broadcast on five major events, namely; Hari
Raya Aidil Adha; Hijrah 1424 (Islamic New Year); Brunei’s
National Day; Indonesia’s Independence Day; and His Majesty
the Sultan andYang Di-Pertuan’s Birthday celebration.
The RRI delegates were
represented by Eddy Basrul Intan, Prabawati, Diar Mauli and
Achmad Jarot. RRI’s head delegate is Benny Koesbani, who is
also the Director of RRI.
The programme is jointly
produced by Saloma Haji Mahmud, Rohani Hj Yussof and Eddy Basrul
Intan, from Indonesia.
