Since the news of the opening
of the Laksamana College of Business, there have been a lot of
inquires about the types of courses and requirement necessary
for the college to accept their first intake.
The college will be offering
‘O’ level and ‘A’ level school leavers for
pre-foundation, university foundation and BA (Hon) year 1 Degree
courses.
For ‘O’ Level school
leavers, they have two choices. Firstly, they could join the
certificate course then proceed to diploma and then to advanced
diploma and higher diploma. Lastly students can take a degree of
their choice in the final year at either University of Glamorgan
or University of Northumbria in England.
Another option is that, they
can take a pre-foundation course for a year then move on to the
University foundation course and move on to the first year of
University in Brunei Darussalam until the final year of
university where the students will be studying in United
Kingdom.
While for ‘A’ Level
leavers, they have the option of going to university from year
one to three in Brunei Darussalam and will take the last year of
university in United Kingdom. Or students can take Diploma until
Higher Diploma and then move to the final year of university in
UK.
The undergraduate programmes
which are offered by Laksamana College of Business are BA (Hon)
in Marketing, BA (Hon) in Business Studies and BA (Hon) in
Business Information Technology Management. This was clarified
by the administration manager of Laksamana College of Business.
The college will start taking
its first intake around March. For further details call
