His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam
consented to send congratulatory messages to Dame Silvia
Cartwright, Governor General of New Zealand and Helen Clark,
Prime Minister of New Zealand, on the occasion of Waitangi Day.
In his message, His Majesty
expressed his satisfaction with the warm and friendly relations
and deep understanding that have been long established between
Brunei Darussalam and New Zealand. His Majesty hopes that this
would be maintained and enhanced in the future for the good of
the two countries and people.
His Majesty also hoped that
Dame Silvia Cartwright and Helen Clark will always remain in
good health and for the people of New Zealand to always enjoy
continued progress and prosperity.
