Brunei And Zambia Establish Ties In New York

Bandar Seri Begawan - The government of His Majesty Sultan of Brunei and the government of the Republic of Zambia established diplomatic relations with effect on Monday, February 3, 2003, the Brunei Foreign Ministry announced yesterday.

The signing of the joint communiqué took place at the office of the Permanent Representative of Brunei to the United Nations, New York.

Brunei Ambassador and Extra Plenipotentiary to the United Nations, New York Haji Shofry bin Haji Abdul Ghafor represented Brunei and Zambia's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, New York Mwelwa C Musambachime attended for his country.
