Staff members of GHK Motors Sdn. Bhd as well as members of the public took the opportunity to watch a Chinese traditional lion dance performance in front of the GHK Motors office cum showroom located at Industry Complex in Beribi, Gadong yesterday.

The half-hour performances were part of the Chinese New Year celebrations to bring good luck to the business in 2003 under the Year of the “Ram in a flock of ewes” - signifying a position of good fortune. The Ram is the most mild-mannered of all the Chinese Zodiac animals and is also a symbol of peace and tranquility.

The Chinese Community in the country continued to be in joyous mood as the celebration entered its fourth day yesterday. The new-year festivities will reach a climax February 15, which is also known as Chop Goh Mei. Most of the Chinese shops, restaurants and office reopened its doors for business yesterday after the Chinese New Year break
