Staff members of GHK Motors Sdn.
Bhd as well as members of the public took the opportunity to
watch a Chinese traditional lion dance performance in front of
the GHK Motors office cum showroom located at Industry Complex
in Beribi, Gadong yesterday.
The half-hour performances were
part of the Chinese New Year celebrations to bring good luck to
the business in 2003 under the Year of the “Ram in a flock of
ewes” - signifying a position of good fortune. The Ram is the
most mild-mannered of all the Chinese Zodiac animals and is also
a symbol of peace and tranquility.
The Chinese Community in the
country continued to be in joyous mood as the celebration
entered its fourth day yesterday. The new-year festivities will
reach a climax February 15, which is also known as Chop Goh Mei.
Most of the Chinese shops, restaurants and office reopened its
doors for business yesterday after the Chinese New Year break
