Malaysian teenage sensation Boboy continued to be ushered by their die-hard fans Sunday evening as they hosted a barbeque buffet for their fans at the De Hayat Café in Berakas.

The café can only pleasantly accommodate 50 diners at one time but last Sunday night the hall was crammed with more than 80 people, while scores more waited outside.

Others who wanted to book places had to be rejected by the organisers as they could not find enough space to accommodate them.

Fans, some of them coming from as far as Kuala Belait, were not to be disappointed as they were able to have a good time with their idols.

The five boys as well as local recording artiste Ajis gave their personal attention to the fans and sportingly posed for countless photographs.

They also signed autographs for their fans, some of whom were even younger than them.

Some of the fans said they also attended the 2-in-1 concert Saturday night as well as the Meet-the-Fans session in Kuala Belait and Gadong.

“We are great fans of Boboy. Even if there are more functions you can count on us to attend all of them,” they said. The boys were also given a chance to talk to their fans. They thanked their fans in Brunei Darussalam for providing such an exceptional reception.

“We did not realise we have a large number of followers here. Thanks for your support,” said Naqiu to the fans.

Naqiu also thanked their mentor Lan Laga, organisers De Hayat Musical and Production, sponsors and the media for the support.

Meanwhile a young girl aged about 13 came alone just to see the five members of Boboy. She brought along Boboy’s CDs, VCDs, photos and magazines as well as a camera and a marker pen for Boboy to pen their signatures on the souvenirs.

“My brother dropped me outside. He will pick me up later after I have had enough,” she said adding that she will contact her brother through a mobile phone.

Boboy returned home yesterday morning to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
