Berkas champions

Champions Berkas celebrate their victory.

Berkas emerged champion at a Futsal Championship 2008 organised by Enforcement Section of Immigration and National Registration Department. Second place went to Basmi.

A total of five teams - Buru, Basmi, Berkas, Bongkar and Pintas - took part in the annual championship and involved enforcement officers and staffs from BSB, Kuala Belait and Temburong branch. The final match was held at UBD hall.

The championship was launched by chief guest Muhsin bin Hj Ahmad, Assistant Director of Immigration Enforcement Section, who also took part in the championship and presented prizes to the winners.

The best goalkeeper was Pg. Alisham bin Pg Haji Aji while the scorer of three goals was won by four players. They were Senior Immigration Officer, Moharefandi bin Haji Tahir, and Immigration officers Rheme bin Abdullah, Sharimin Hairul bin Haji Serbini and Hj Hamidon bin Hj Damit.  -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
