Free Financial Planning Consultations At The Mall

Bandar Seri Begawan - Members of the public including business owners in the country were given free personalised financial planning consultations at the Second Brunei Islamic Financial Planning Week (BIFPW 2006) launched yesterday at The Mall in Gadong.

BIFPW 2006 is organised by fmBRUNEI Group of Companies in collaboration with Perbadanan TAIB Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) and Insurans Islam TAIB and is held from December 29 to 31.

Held at the Atrium Concourse, Lobby of The Mall, the event provides business consultations by trained staff of local Islamic financial institutions and Takaful. The three-day- event aims to educate the public on the importance of financial planning and to help them understand the Islamic view and way of financial planning.

The free consultations are meant to keep the public informed on the availability of trained financial planners mainly in the area of Islamic financial planning, to introduce the `Dome of Needs' as a tool for carrying out Islamic financial planning, to share tactics on debt management and to provide options on various Islamic financial solutions available.
