MPKK Elects New Council Members

Bandar Seri Begawan - MPKK, The Kampung Kilanas Discussion Council recently announced its new elections for the MPKK members for 2006/2011.

The meeting for the new election was held at the Orang Kaya Setia Bakti Kilanas Primary School Hall.

Chairing the event was Haji Lamat bin Haji Abd Rahman, Kilanas Head Village. Also present at the meeting was a representative from the Brunei-Muara District Office and Acting Penghulu of Mukien Kilanas, Haji Adnan bin Haji Md Salleh.

The new elected members were as follows: Chairperson - Haji Lamat bin Haji Abd Rahman (Kampong Kilanas Village Head), Deputy Chairperson - Pg Haji Ali Hassan bin Pg DSLJ Haji Abas, Secretary - Haji Suhaili bin Haji Suhaimi, Assistant Secretary - Awang Haji Shawal bin Rejab, and Treasurer - Pg Haji Momin bin Pg Hj Jumaat.
