Last Day Of Back To School Carnival

Bandar Seri Begawan - Today is the last chance for shoppers to grab bargains at the ‘Back To School Carnival 2006', organised by AMF Mas Event Management Services.

The carnival, which will end tonight at 10pm, is participated by over 20 vendors selling books, banking products, telecommunications tools and services as well as computer goods.

According to Managing Director ofAMF Mas Event Management Services, Capt (R) AH Amran bin Hj Aman, the carnival is an opportunity for entrepreneurs in the country to introduce their business products and services to the public, while boosting sales.

A visitor at the carnival said she was pleased with the selection of goods on sale as there was a wide variety of text books, school bags and stationery all under one roof. "School will reopen next week and the carnival is timely for us to prepare our children's school needs," she said.

Meanwhile, AMF Mas Event Management Services has other events lined up for the future including the "Pesta Batik Tenunan & Kraftangan", scheduled to take place from January 26 till February 4, at the Atrium Hall, The Mall.

Apart from that, the "PC Fair Towards The Excellency of ICT" is scheduled to be held from April 5 till 14, while-an-"NEC Carnival" is set to take place at The Mall sometime in June. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
