Acting Minister Inspects Development Projects In Temburong

Temburong - The Acting Minister of Home Affairs, Pehin Dato Paduka Haji Awang Dani bin Haji Ibrahim, made working visits to various National Development Project sites conducted by the Temburong Village Consultative Council yesterday.

The entourage began their visit at Muafakat Hall, Government Departments Building. They were greeted by Awang Haji Mohd Abdoh bin DSS Haji Abd Salam, Acting District Officer and officers from the Roadwork's Department as well as associated contractors.

Following a briefing and a welcoming remark from the Temburong District Officer, the Acting Minister presented a brief speech on the development status of projects namely the Government Departments Building Repairs Project, Construction of a Bumiputera Pekan Bangar Phase 2 Project, Repairs and Renovation of old Temburong District Office Building Project and Pekan Bangar Officers Housing Project.

TheActing Minister-together with his entourage of senior officers then visited the sites of the aforementioned projects. Later the trip was extended to "Taman Warisan Kampung Belais dan Buda-Buda" and ended at Mukim Bokok, situated 13km from Pekan Bangar, to witness a Prosperous Village Award Project.-- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
