Thai Woman Jailed For Soliciting

Tutong - A 28-year-old Thai woman was jailed two months after she admitted to a charge of soliciting in the Bandar Magistrate's Court yesterday.

Aram Hathasin Cha was apprehended at labour's quarters in Ampangan Air Binutan on December 23, by Tutong CID police.

She was found loitering with a man outside one of the rooms at the quarters. During investigations, the defendant said that she was paid $40 for her services. CID personnel had earlier suspected that there was prostitution activity in the place. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
