Japanese Students Tour Temburong

- A group of eight Japanese students and two attendants
visited the Ulu Temburong National Park yesterday.
The group are part of the Youth
Environment Study from Sendai City, who arrived in the country on
Saturday.
During the visit, students toured
the boardwalk and ascended some 1,226 steps to enjoy a bird's. eye
view on the canopy walk. They saw tiger orchids and other epiphytes
clinging to tree branches, and caught a glimpse of Bukit Belalong in
the distance. Apart from that, students also took a closer look at
stone gravels scattered along the Temburong riverbed.
Today, students will visit Kg Tamoi
Tengah traditional village, where they will be hosted to an exchange
party and video presentation. The group will also stay the night at
