Local Entrepreneur Launches Isman Money Changer By P Marilyn

Bandar Seri Begawan - Local entrepreneur Pg Isman Hisham Pg Hj Othman achieved another milestone with the launching of his new business "Isman Money Changer", which will be officially launched today at the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassdnal Bolkiah. Pg Isman was one of the runners up of the Live WIRE Brunei Business Awards in 2003. LiveWIRE Brunei is a social investment programme of Brunei Shell Petroleum Company Sdn Bhd (BSP).

Since then, he has developed a few chains of businesses. And in view of his accomplishments, Live WIRE Brunei has .elected him as one of the role models to small and medium entrepreneurs.

Pg Isman's feat was not all smooth sailing. However, he rose to the occasion dnd took up the challenge to make his business a success. Pg Isman began his business since he was in school by selling insurance, for a start.

With the passion to do well in business and with little experience, he decided to venture into other businesses. He then started up a food business by supplying fresh materials to various clients.

Once stable, he took the opportunity to venture out into the transportation business by supplying shuttle services for schools. "Isman Money Changer" is another area of business that Pg Isman is focusing on. He plans to diversify his business and, more importantly, to sustain the businesses that are currently operating.

When asked what his keys to success were Pg Isman said he was still on the learning curve and will continue to gain as much business knowledge as possible to further improve his capability.
