Overseas Youth Programme Ends

Bandar Seri Begawan - The 14th Overseas Youth Programme closed yesterday with a certificate presentation at the Sports Village in Berakas.

The event, which began on Dec. 4, was participated by 32 Singaporean youths who are police or army cadets as well as 32 local youths and army cadets.

The survival course was also created to enhance the relationship between the two nations. It was organised by Ministry of Culture Youth and Sports, Outward Bound School of Singapore and the Ministry of Education's Extra-Curricular Activities Section.

The project is ongoing and held on a yearly basis. Bruneian youths will go to Singapore next year for the same purpose. Giving away certificates to the participants yesterday was the Acting Assistant Commissioner Police Abd Rahim Hj Mohammad Noor and RBPF's Acting Director General of Administration and Finance.
