84 Empire Team Members Awarded For 5 Years' Service

Bandar Seri Begawan - Team members who had been with The Empire Hotel and Country Club for five years were awarded special `5 Year Service Awards' during a special ceremony held at the Indera Kayangan Ballroom, recently, a press release from the hotel stated.

Present at the event were members of the Board of Directors of JPH Sdn Bhd - Dr Hj Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Chairman; Hj Awg Saifulbahri bin Hj Awg Mansor, Director; Hj Jaidi bin Hj Abdul Sani, Executive Director; Anne Busfield, General Manager, and several heads of departments. This was the second year that the special award ceremony was held for the Hotel that opened in October 2000. For this year, a total of 84 team members received the 5 Year Long Service Award, which were presented by Dr Hj Mvlohd Amin Liew and Hj A.vg Saifulbahri.

The event started off with a welcome prayer followed by a speech by General Manager Anne Busfield, who warmly congratulated and thanked all the team members who received the award.

"To these 84 ladies and gentlemen who have dedicated and committed their time and service to The Empire Hotel & Country Club, a very big thank you from all of us at the Hotel," said the GM.

"We appreciate your loyalty and look forward to many more years together with all of you at The Empire Hotel & Country Club."

During the event, aside from the presentation of awards, team members were also treated to performances by their fellow colleagues and a delicious buffet spread. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
