Cash, Goodies For Non-Muslim RBAF Orphans

Bandar Seri Begawan - Wide smiles were plastered on the faces of five non-Muslim RBAF orphans who were presented donations during a ceremony held at the Berakas Garrison Pahlawan Hall yesterday.

The annual `Sentuhan Kasih Welfare Project' is organised by the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) to celebrate the orphans and at the same time, ease their burdens. The afternoon ceremony saw the orphans receiving donations in the form of cash and other goodies, which were donated by several sources including the RBAF- Welfare Fund, RBAF personnel, and RBAF Wives Welfare Committee (BAKTI) Fund.

On hand to present the donations were RBAF Commander cum guest of honour Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Hj Md Yussof and his wife, Datin Hajah Kalshom bte Hj Suhaili.

RBAF has always been committed in caring for the welfare of its orphans. Donations are presented yearly to brighten the spirits of the less fortunate.
