Sayangi Diri Camp Focuses On Youth-Building Activities

Bandar Seri Begawan - "The `Sayangi Diri' camp is appropriately organised at a time when we witness the moral collapse among a small group of adolescents today.

Youths nowadays live in' their own world without paying attention to incidents happening within their surroundings. Therefore it is appropriate for all of us to handle and organise any activities directed and focused towards youth building."

This was stated by Haji Adinin bin Pehin Dato Haji Ibrahim, Chairman of Adinin Group of Companies in his capacity as the guest-of-honour at the closing ceremony of the Sayangi Diri Camp yesterday.

At the closing ceremony, the guest of honour presented certificates of participation and gifts to the best group and best participant at the camp. The closing ceremony was enlivened with a drama performance from camp participants.

Around 40 Secondary Four-students from five government secondary schools in the district took part in the camp, coorganised by Narcotics Control Bureau and Sekolah Menengah Pengiran Anak Puteri Hajah Rashidah Sa'adatul Bolkiah Lumut.

The three-day camp began on Monday and was aimed at giving youths an exposure to better equip themselves for future challenges and to produce youths with leadership skills and vision.-- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
