Donations Continue To Pour In For
Yogyakarta Earthquake Victims

Begawan - Although it has been seven months since the
earthquake disaster in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, donations are still
pouring in for the victims.
Yesterday, the Indonesian
Ambassador to the Sultanate, Mr Herijanto Soeprapto received -two
officers representing the Ministry of Development at the embassy's
chancery in Jalan Muara who dropped by to hand over cash donation
for the earthquake victims.

Hj Zulkipli Hj Abdullah, accompanied by Pg Datin Hjh Nurleha,
representing staff from the ministry, handed over a donation
amounting to B$1,967.10 to the ambassador.
In this opportunity, the ambassador
said that whatever forms of contribution and no matter how big,
reflects the deep concern and care from the Bruneian community. He
disclosed that to date, the embassy has handed over $12,400 in
donation from the Bruneians and Indonesians community here.
The donation was presented to the
brother of Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono X, Gusti Prabu Bendoro Pangeran
Haryo Prabukusumo during his visit to the Sultanate last July. -- Courtesy of Borneo
