By Yusrin Junaidi

Bandar Seri Begawan - Two hundred and forty-three police cadets from 17 schools successfully completed their annual camping activities at the Berakas Forest Reserve recently.

The annual camp for Police Cadets ran from December 9 - 11, following which a closing ceremony was held.

Present as chief guest at the closing was Ministry of Education Administration & Services Director Hj Abdullah bin Hj Metassim.

In his opening speech, Police Cadet Team Head Inspector Yahya Hj Mundim expressed hopes that the activities lined up during the camp instilled in participants the need to be hard working.

The activities can instill a disciplined attitude, and fill participants' free time with healthy and beneficial activities, he added.

During the closing ceremony, Haji Abdullah inspected a march past and later presented prizes to the teams that emerged victorious in various activities. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
